Pumps, plumbing& sanitary Tank accessories Vented loops Tru-Designs vented loop has been designed and manufactured in New Zealand for use in marine applications. Vented loops are commonly used for inlet and discharge pipes on toilet installations below the water line. Our aquavent is moulded in a glass reinforced nylon composite, with a silicon bleed valve. The bleed valve allows air into the system to stop siphoning yet seals effectively when water or fluid pass through. The advantage with our vented loops over others is that the internal diameter is the same throughout the bend - meaning there is no restriction. The aquavent can be used as a holding tank vent by replacing the bleed valve fitting with a tube that is connected to a deck level vent. Solenoid vented loop Designed and made in New Zealand, Tru-Design vented loops with solenoid are the superior composite siphon break solutions for marine applications. Vented loops prevent water siphoning from underwater skin fittings back into a vessel and thereby guard against accidental flooding and sinking. Vented loops are used predominantly in toilet for overboard applications, toilet inlet applications and holding tank to overboard applications. They can also be used in genset or small engine inlet cooling water systems. A Solenoid controlled vented loop allows the vent to be switched to fully closed. This eliminates air entering the system as occurs with a standard vented loop. The solenoid used is normally open, requiring power only to close the valve. Vented loops are moulded from a glass reinforced nylon composite. High strength, high-modulus glass fibers impregnated into the nylon provides dramatic strength, stiffness, toughness, and dimensional stability to Trudesign loops.
